Things I'm Thankful For

So I know it's not Thanksgiving, but I just wanted to take a second and reflect on a few things I'm thankful for at this point in my life...
- Frosted Flakes. Just enjoyed a late night bowl and it was yummy yummy yummy.
- Energy. I got 6 hours of sleep last night. It is currently 11:50pm and I have class at 8am. I think it's a God-given energy because I have had two of the most insightful conversations ever tonight. Can you say spiritual high? (The best kind of course.)
- The ability to FINALLY let go and let God lead me to where He wants me to be. For the first time in my life, I don't know where I will be 2 years from now. I'll be graduating in 20 months, and from then on, who knows. I know who I am, I know what I am called to do, but the actual timing and carrying out of those plans is all in God's hands. And I'm okay with that for once.
- Friendship. As we used to sing in Girl Scouts (don't judge), "A circle's round, it has no end... that's how long you will be my friend." And I mean it.
- Unlimited texting. I don't feel it's necessary to explain that one...
- The Bible. Oh my, what would I do without it? It is my go-to for every problem, every praise. I can't imagine living in a country where I might be killed for having one.
I am so incredibly blessed for all these things... and many more... :)

"Cultivate these things. Immerse yourself in them. The people will all see you mature right before their eyes! Keep a firm grasp on both your character and your teaching. Don't be diverted. Just keep at it. Both you and those who hear you will experience salvation." --1 Timothy 4:15-16, The Message
